By now you should be aware of the power of Facebook video for your music marketing. Simply Measured recently came up with some great Facebook video tips. You can read the article in full here, but here are the takeaway points:
- Place your message at the start of the clip (perhaps have a clear title screen for a couple of seconds which details what the video is about
“YOUR BAND NAME, LONDON GIG, SATURDAY 31ST OCTOBER”.
- Videos will often auto play without sound, can you caption your video in such a way that people can get the message with no audio?
Facebook has started to roll out video metrics (you’ll find it in your page insights).
