Do you have your Facebook account linked so your Facebook posts are simultaneously posted on Twitter for you?  If so…STOP IT.  The simple reason that you’ll often be writing long posts which will be truncated on Twitter and will display a Facebook redirect link to view the full post on Facebook.

People are on Twitter because they want to be on Twitter, they don’t want to have to view your Twitter posts on Facebook.

A worst case scenario looks like this.

What the hell is that?  I’m not clicking on that.  This person isn’t engaging with people on Twitter, why should I engage with them?

It looks amateur, don’t do it.  Unlink your Facebook and Twitter accounts now.
