As you embark upon a whole new year of marketing your music, it’s important that you take time to reflect on the year just gone to review your overall performance.
Take a full day to look back through your posts, your videos and your campaigns.
Analyse what worked well and what didn’t out as well as expected. Can you identify trends? Is one type of video (say lyric videos) working better than other kinds? What are your best performing posts? Where did you gain media coverage and which sections of the media ignored you? By looking back and taking stock you can get a good sense of what worked and what didn’t. This information is important as you should use that to refine and inform your marketing strategy for 2015.
In summary: Build on your successes of 2014 and learn from the mistakes you made.
