How To Get More Facebook Views – A Share For A Share

If you’re wondering how you can get more exposure with your videos on Facebook I recently came across this article over on Music Ally .

The article focuses on comments made by a popular social media prankster and musician Julius Dein who currently has 5 million likes on Facebook and 8.2 million YouTube views.

How did Julius Dein get his massive social following?

Impressive figures, but how did he get such a following?  Well, it’s all about strategy.  When he was at 100,000 followers on Facebook, he reached out to people with similar Facebook numbers and proposed a mutually beneficial arrangement “You share my videos and I’ll share yours”.

This ‘you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” strategy is easy to execute and best of all it won’t cost you a dime.  Find musicians with a similar sound and similar sized following and agree to share each other’s music videos when you upload them to Facebook.  In doing so you gain access to each others audience.

“You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”

This strategy is almost identical to similar to the ‘marketing alliance’ I discussed in February! So, your job for today is find another three or four musically comparable artists on Facebook with a similar sized audience.  Hit them up and see if you can start a ‘sharing partnership’.
