It can be hard for bands or musicians to objectively write their own biography because of the close proximity of themselves to their music.  If that’s the case with you, why not get your fans to help you?

I recently asked my band’s Facebook followers to describe our live shows using just three words and they replied in their hundreds.

Now, this was just a fun exercise for me to engage my social audience but from their responses I could weave some of their descriptions, adjectives and fun terminology into my band biography to give a better ‘crowdsourced’ description of what we do.

Why not try it for yourself and see how others see you and your music!
