You’re probably a tiny bit jealous of the millions of social followers that superstar musicians and singers have accrued. I’m here today with a little encouragement to remind you can be better than them on social networks!

Here’s what you have to remember.  Artists with millions of followers (The Taylors and Kanyes of this world) have so many followers all they can provide on their socials is ‘one way communication’.  They will post something on Instagram which may get thousands of responses but those superstar artists won’t have time to reply to a single comment, there’s just too many of them.

If YOU make a post on Facebook or Instagram however, you might only receive a modest response from your audience but this means you have the luxury of being able to comment and reply to every single person on every single network (I’ll include YouTube here as well).

You have a small, ’boutique’ following but this means you can build a one on one relationship with them over time. You can chat to each of them that respond to you, get to know them and that’s something the superstars will never be able to do!
