How To Use Social Media To Increase Your Branding

Annan Guerrero has written a great article over at Social Media Examiner which explains how your images on social media can help increase your overall ‘branding’.  We’ve discussed branding before and  bands simply don’t give enough thought to it.  You need to ‘brand yourself’ to help forge your identify: what you sound like, what you stand for and what people should expect when they buy your music or pay to watch you play.    I urge you to read the full article but here are the main points:

1) Create complementary covers/designs/headers across all your social channels.

2) Use your logo on all your images.

3) Use the right fonts and colours which fit in with your brand/story.

4) Rely less on words and more on imagery and colours to do the talking.

Always aim for eye catching visuals.
