How To Add An Existing Facebook Event To Your Facebook Gig Calendar

If a venue or promoter has already created an event for your gig on their Facebook page did you know that you can import that event rather than to create your own. One Facebook event is a lot easier for several parties to promote than several fragmented ones plus you’ll get a larger set of ‘invited’ people, interested people etc all in one place. Here’s how you do it.

Find the event that you want to add to your Events calendar and from that event page click the ‘three dots’ on the top right of the page and from the drop down menu select ‘Add To Page’.


Facebook will then ask you which page you want to add it to (you could run or manage a number of Facebook pages).  Select the page that correspond to your band , click ‘Add Event’ button and you’re done!
