We’ve seen that Facebook can be a great platform for video views but what exactly is the optimum length for a Facebook video?  Socialbakers undertook some research in July 2014 and found that the best completion rate was 21 seconds.

How does this effect you?  Well, if you have video diaries, backstage footage etc that is say 5 minutes in length you know that people are more likely to watch it if you ‘atomise’ it and break it into 30 second chunks.  This also creates a constant stream of content for your fans rather than one big splurge.
